The simple quit and start once again does also fix the problem for this game. Press J to jump to the feed. If it doesn't work, right-click on the Revive icon in the start bar, and select "Patch" and patch the Lone Echo starter. I do have 32 GB of Ram and an i7-8700k, so maybe that's the difference? When that happens I usually exit steamvr all the way and come back and it works. Now you should try to start Lone Echo. I am new to development and at this stage its is more of a hobby but i really like the concept and design, do you have any thoughts or pointers on how i might be able to get a set? It's such a slog in an otherwise stellar game, New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. (Because any SteamVR headset uses utter shit called SteamVR). Wow...that was fast as ever. Note that reviving Lone Echo, the in-game resolution scale does not work, you need to set super sampling using the SteamVR resolution slider. The touch games are the best ones for the index controllers right now other than Boneworks and a few others. Any advice? If that doesn't make it start, try "Inject". EDIT2: Fixed in ReVive 1.1.9 at the speed of light by the one and only /u/crossvr !! I managed to get it work and even apply a bit of SS to it! Absolutely incredible experience floating around the bridge of that ship. Although all Echo units are programmed to bond with a long-term partner, Jack’s relationship with Liv has been uniquely well developed. Don't get me wrong - Lone Echo looks totally awesome using the Index with 4xMSAA and res 200%, unfortunately I get like 10-20 fps doing that. Are you aware motion smoothing is a fallback system for when the GPU cannot keep up? Just finished the tutorial then it's … Oculus knows their shit in software and games. Just finished the tutorial then it's time for dinner, but will play it later! There is a bit of reprojection but your specs are better than mine so you should be fine. What am I doing wrong? I really want to play through the campaign but if motion smoothing is going to be on 100% of the time I don't really feel like that's worth $45. the oculus buttons are perfectly mapped. I'm walking threw it at the moment, and love the controls with these controllers. But I do agree that some people have disliked this game for its slow pace and lack of action. I can't tell why some - including me have no button press recognised but there is a solution. The immersion is fantastic. With revive we can access exclusive titles and that game was on sale finally and is that good, would have loved to buy it on steam if I could have. so how? Lone Echo was made for CV1, and Lone Echo with CV1 truly shines using super sampling 2.0 and temporal antialiasing. And the spatial audio from the speakers was so on-point. It’s that good, I had goosebumps playing it. Damn man, I've always held off on Oculus games because I don't even want to make an account with them. I would love to see what i can do with them! Fingers crossed. I also got a Quest for the sake of seen what is out there technology wise and I don’t regret it. I want a set of knuckles so bad! I am using it for everything it can do avoiding as much as possible to buy stuff on it. Totally agree takes time to appreciate it for what it does. I can't speak or Lone Echo, but you should be able to get Echo VR running smooth with the right settings. Get lone echo for your index! As a result In Lone Echo’s single player story, you’ll be transported to an advanced mining facility within the rings of Saturn, complete with a detailed space station, expansive outer-space environments, and interactive space equipment.
